Expected temperatures and atmospheric phenomena
On Wednesday, August 5, the hot weather will continue in the country. According to meteorologist Petar Yankov, maximum daytime temperatures will vary between 33 and 39 degrees, while up to 32 degrees are expected along the Black Sea coast.
In the morning, temperatures will be between 16 and 22 degrees, reaching 20 to 23 degrees along the Black Sea coast. Sunny weather is forecast for late morning, but in the afternoon, cumulus clouds will develop over Western Bulgaria. This will lead to the possibility of light showers in the far northwestern regions, as well as in the Rila and Rhodope mountains.
Wind and conditions in Sofia and at the seaside
The wind will be light to moderate from the east with speeds up to 25 km/h. In the higher parts of the mountains, moderate to fresh easterly winds are expected with speeds up to 40 km/h.

For the capital, a minimum daytime temperature of 16 degrees and a maximum of 34 degrees are forecast.
