Exploring a potential clash
Former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson expressed interest in a potential matchup between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk and Mexican-American David Benavidez. According to the American legend, such a fight would be a "fantastic" event in the world of boxing.
Comparison of styles
In a statement quoted by The Ring magazine, Tyson made a comparison between the two fighters, noting that both possess fast hands. However, he pointed out a technical advantage for the Mexican: "I think Benavidez lands more punches and does more combinations than Usyk."
Tyson added that for such a fight to happen, Benavidez would need to move up one weight category. He also characterized Usyk as a "tough" fighter but noted that the Ukrainian is not a very large representative in the heavyweight division.
