Today, a series of technical difficulties affected Meta's main platforms. Users from various regions, including the Bulgarian cities of Sofia and Varna, began reporting a lack of access to Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger.
According to data from the technical problem tracking platform Downdetector, the peak of complaints was recorded around 11:00 AM Bulgarian time. For a short period, hundreds of reports of non-working services were recorded, with problems observed both through mobile applications and via desktop access.
The outage was global rather than local, suggesting a problem at the server level or within the company's own infrastructure. By midday, access to the services began to gradually stabilize, and users are no longer reporting massive interruptions.
