Musical performers D2 and Deo present their new single "Svoboda", accompanied by an impressive music video that combines high speeds, adrenaline, and a strong message of friendship. The project marks a new collaboration between the two artists, who have a history of successful musical collaborations.
The music and arrangement of the song were created by Dimitar Karnev, and the lyrics are co-authored by Deyan Slavchev – Deo, Aleksandar Abretenov, and Dimitar Karnev. The idea for the composition arose in 2014 during Karnev's bicycle trip in the Rhodope Mountains. It was then that the song was "born on two wheels," only to come to life later "on four."
Music Video Plot
The music video was filmed at A1 Motor Park near Samokov – one of the most modern racing tracks in the Balkans. The plot is built around a spectacular car race between two BMW cars, driven by Dicho and Dimitar Karnev. Liliya Andreeva from Ruse also participates in the video. Despite the tension, the race ends without a winner, conveying the message that true friends do not compete against each other, but walk side by side.
Upcoming National Tour
The new single will be performed live as part of D2's upcoming national tour, in which Deo will participate as a special guest. Krasi Todorov and Georgi Dimitrov – JoJo will also join them on stage, with Filip Donkov and the group Freakdale as opening acts.
